Bright Kids was established in 1999 and since has been delivering high quality childcare. We are seeking an experienced nursery manager on a permanent, full time basis for our setting in Crabbs Cross, Redditch, Worcestershire.
The Bright Kids brand prides itself on the training, support, and progression it offers its employees. While our positions are ideally full-time on a rotating shift pattern between 7.30am-6.00pm Monday to Friday, we are happy to discuss part time and flexible working pattern options.
Salary is subject to experience and qualification held and includes attendance bonus scheme.
Responsible to: Operations Director
Overall purpose of the job:
To effectively manage the day-to-day and financial operations of the nursery and out of school clubs
To oversee the operations of the setting to a high standard of care and education to children in line with the Ethos, Core values, policies and procedures for Bright Kids.
To lead, manage and develop a staff team.
To provide a clean and well-maintained environment conducive with the Curiosity Approach and health and safety standards.
To ensure the curriculum is promoted and delivered throughout the setting.
To be part of the wider management team of the company.
Qualities and Experience:
We are looking for a person who is qualified to a minimum of level 3 in childcare with at least three year’s post-qualification experience within a Nursery setting. Higher qualifications would be an advantage. A comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the running of a Nursery must be shown. The ability to use computerised systems is essential. Previous management experience preferred, but at least two years supervisory experience is required. You will need to be flexible and enthusiastic with a good sense of humour.
We are also looking for a person who is able to work on his or her own initiative within the Nursery setting.

Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications.
