Electrical Project Manager - £7M Mansion Refurbishment Berkshire (Slough) | Contract | Competitive Day Rate | Immediate Start The Opportunity Lead the complete electrical refurbishment of a prestigious mansion in Berkshire on this exceptional £7,000,000 Electrical contract. This is an opportunity to manage a flagship project on a property of significant historical and architectural importance. The project will be delivered across two phases: * Phase 1: Strip out and rewire of one wing * Phase 2: Full rip out and rewire including 1st & 2nd fix domestic electrical installation and containment systems The Role As Electrical Project Manager, you'll be site-based full-time, providing hands-on leadership and taking full ownership of all electrical aspects of this high-value contract. Your responsibilities will include: * End-to-end management of electrical installation from strip out through to commissioning * Acting as primary client liaison, managing expectations and communications throughout both phases * Overseeing electrical design development and ensuring compliance with specifications * Directing and leading both direct labour and sub-contract teams * Implementing rigorous QA/QC processes to ensure premium standards * Championing site safety culture and ensuring full CDM compliance * Managing works schedules and coordinating with other trades * Monitoring costs, variations, and labour allocation What You'll Need Essential: * Proven track record managing electrical projects valued at £2M * Extensive experience in high-end residential, heritage, or luxury refurbishment * Strong technical knowledge of domestic electrical installations and containment systems * Demonstrable leadership skills managing direct and sub-contract teams * Excellent client-facing abilities * CSCS/ECS card (SMSTS and First Aid at Work desirable) Desirable: * Experience on mansion, listed building, or ultra-high-net-worth residential projects * Knowledge of metal containment systems and design coordination * Exposure to phased delivery on occupied or sensitive sites * Smart home/automation systems integration experience The Package * Competitive day rate commensurate with experience £(Apply online only) per day * CIS Self-employed contract * 12 month project duration * Standard hours: 07:30-17:30, Monday to Friday (flexibility required for extended hours and occasional weekend working) Apply now to be considered for this great opportunity
