We are seeking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Manager to join our leadership team within the Talking Therapies service,
The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational management of one of the teams in the service, but will be expected to provide leadership cover across localities within the service if needed. We cover the whole district and have 3 main bases in Bradford, Shipley and Keighley although you may have staff based further afield.
They will work within a friendly and well-established multi-disciplinary team and will work collaboratively with colleagues. The post holder will assist the Service Manager and Clinical manager and take line management, clinical and professional development responsibilities for the Team.
The post holder will have operational management and mental health experience. Knowledge of Talking Therapies services is useful but not essential.
The Talking Therapies Service has a strong focus on Staff Wellbeing. We have loads of CPD opportunities and as a service we are constantly developing with opportunities for staff to get involved and lead on service changes.
Leadership in Talking Therapies is a really exciting place to be, we are constantly adapting and changing as a service and we have lots of opportunities to expand and do marketing and promotion work alongside the day to day management.

Main duties of the job
This post will have managerial and supervisory responsibility for the TT Team.
The post holder will assist the Service Manager and Clinical manager and take line management, clinical and professional development responsibilities for the team.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with relevant organisations and develop and maintain working relationships in their locality with GPs, secondary and tertiary teams and voluntary sector organisations.
The post holder will alongside the other team mangers in continually developing the service and ensuring the delivery of an integrated locality service. The service will be flexible, user centred and complementary to other elements of the wider health provision.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Qualification in Mental Health e.g. Dip SW, CBT, Counselling or a core profession OR Significant experience of management and leadership within a mental health service.
Desirable criteria
2. TT Qualification
3. Leadership training.
4. Teaching (clinical practice) qualification/certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience
Essential criteria
5. Minimum of two years post qualification experience of working in mental health services
6. Evidence of significant post qualification training in relevant areas
7. Experience of line management of a clinical team including allocation and monitoring of workload
8. Experience of receiving / providing clinical supervision
Desirable criteria
9. Experience of working in an NHS Talking Therapy service
10. Experience of involving service users and carers and actively incorporating their experiences
Knowledge
Essential criteria
11. Demonstrate an understanding of the relevant area of mental health practise.
12. Specialist knowledge across the range of work procedures and practices, underpinned by theoretical knowledge or relevant practical experience.
Desirable criteria
13. Awareness of a range of psychological therapy modalities/professions and implications for practice, professional development.
