Lean Central Practice Team Member
Overview
Are you passionate about driving continuous improvement? Join us as a Lean Central Practice Team Member, where you’ll help embed Lean thinking across the organisation and build a culture of operational excellence at SGN.
Responsibilities
- Work with the LCP team to develop and deliver improvement initiatives with operations personnel across regions and enterprise functions.
- Champion Lean methodologies, educating the wider business on how innovative changes can reduce waste and drive efficiency.
- Maintain key trackers and dashboards for Lean initiatives.
- Provide insightful reporting to Senior Leadership.
- Deliver training on essential tools such as process mapping and visual management.
- Act as a key support point for regional Lean teams, identifying improvement opportunities and guiding less experienced team members.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and technical expertise (process mapping and Excel).
- Green Belt certified or aspiring to achieve certification with potential to advance to Black Belt.
- Positive attitude and ability to communicate at all levels.
- Innovativeness, generating ideas and challenging others to improve or replace existing processes.
- Experience in operations or similar environments is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across Southern UK and Scotland as necessary.
