CAMHS Specialist Nurse/OT/Social Worker – Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust
We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified nurse, occupational therapist, or social worker to join our Greenwich CAMHS Adolescent team. The post‑holder will provide high‑quality specialist assessments, consultations, and evidence‑based therapeutic interventions for children and young people presenting with severe mental health difficulties.
Responsibilities
 * Coordinate and deliver individualised care packages/programmes for children and young people and evaluate these programmes, ensuring high standards of practice in accordance with national guidelines and trust policy.
 * Provide specialist mental health advice and consultation.
 * Engage therapeutically with young people and their carers in a variety of settings.
 * Plan and facilitate appropriate therapeutic interventions, including group work for the specialist client group and their families and carers.
 * Assess and manage risk in children and young people and, on an ongoing basis, act as care coordinator.
 * Communicate risks effectively and appropriately to medical staff, other professionals and families.
 * Act as an autonomous practitioner, recognizing own limitations and seeking support when needed.
 * Contribute to overall service delivery and development, focusing on the CAMHS care pathway as required.
 * Work closely with school‑based and community health professionals, carrying out joint assessments when appropriate.
