Role Overview
We are seeking a talented and commercially astute Senior Banking & Finance Lawyer (5–8 PQE) to join the firm's London office. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work within a leading Tier 1 offshore banking & finance practice, alongside some of the most experienced lawyers in the sector. The role offers a mix of high-end legal work and client engagement, with a strong focus on business development and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as lead associate on complex finance matters, primarily leveraged finance, real estate finance, and restructuring transactions.
* Engage directly with top-tier UK and US law firms, financial institutions, and corporate clients.
* Support partners in developing business within the London market and growing the firm’s client base.
* Work closely with colleagues across global offices on cross-border mandates.
* Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Candidate Profile
* 5–8 years' PQE gained at a leading UK, US, or offshore law firm.
* Strong technical knowledge and proven experience in leveraged finance, real estate finance, and restructuring.
* Qualified in England & Wales (or another common law jurisdiction with strong UK experience).
* Excellent academic credentials.
* Commercially minded with a good London market network and strong interpersonal skills.
* Self-starter who enjoys client-facing work and thrives in a collaborative, high-performing environment.
