Overview
The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting Class 2 Tipper drivers for our client in Rushden.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 07:00am start times.
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE with £25 per night out allowance on occasions where working away is required and paid for hotel.
Location: Rushden, NN10.
Job Type: Temporary to permanent.
The Role
* Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and efficiently.
* Carry out tipper work, including the transportation and tipping of products such as aggregate, topsoil, etc.
* Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
* Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
* Ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned routes.
* Will be required to work away from home, with accommodation provided in a paid hotel.
Requirements
* 2 years\' Class 2 experience on Tipper trucks
* Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
* Full understanding of WTD legislation.
* Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A safety-first mindset.
