This role is key in supporting the functions of the Strategic Engagement and Partnerships team.

The salary band for this role is $61,550 - $68,390 depending on relevant skills and experience of the candidate.

The Coordinator Community Engagement role is vital to the smooth running and function of the Southern region team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Manager Community Engagement and team to engage well in the community
* Ensure that team members are at the right place, at the right times, with the right tools
* Provide administration support for the Manager and Community Engagement team.
* Contribute to the delivery of timely and accurate reports including managing various project reports and spreadsheets
* Support the delivery of engagement in a digital environment.

To be successful in this role you need the following:
* Strong communication and relationship skills and knowledge of te ao Māori.
* Proven data entry skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Planning and organisational skills
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
* Possess high attention to detail and ability to recognise discrepancies
* Professional and results orientated with good business and customer focus
* Experience managing confidential information appropriately
