Your Role (What you'll be doing) As a vital member of our Reading Main Dealer team, you will:
* Mechanical Repairs: Carry out essential servicing, braking, steering, and transmission repairs.
* Advanced Diagnostics: Use modern automotive software to resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults.
* Technical Support: Work alongside Senior Technicians to tackle high-level engine work and fault diagnosis.
* Safety Inspections: Perform thorough vehicle health checks and maintain accurate technical documentation.
* Quality Standards: Deliver "first-time fix" quality to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
What You Need
* Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 18 months workshop experience—we are happy to have a flexible discussion based on your skills.
* Tools: Your own vehicle repair tools are preferred.
* Compliance: A full UK driving license is essential.
* Mindset: A reliable work ethic and a desire to progress to Master Tech status.
