Recruit UK is partnering with a well-respected Independent Financial Adviser firm in Blackpool to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their expanding team.
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate accounting records, producing financial reports, and administering processes related to client fee income and adviser fee payments, ensuring all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company procedures.
Responsibilities
* Oversee quarterly client fees and monthly IFA/intermediary fees, including fee setup, manual calculations, static data checks, payment runs, statements, and handling related queries with internal teams and external parties.
* Assist with fee-related initiative and review finance fee procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Skills and experience required:
* Minimum of 1 years’ experience in accounting or finance support roles preferred.
* A-Level or equivalent qualification is essential.
* Basic Excel skills and accounting knowledge required; experience with Avaloq is preferred.
