PACS and RIS Systems Administrator
Join NHS Scotland in a fixed‑term or secondment role until July 2026 as part of the Forth Valley Radiology Department. The post focuses on operational management and strategic development of the Radiology PACS and RIS systems.
Responsibilities
* Lead the operational management of Radiology PACS and RIS systems, ensuring resilience and data security for FV patients.
* Support the delivery of the new Picture Archiving Communication solution and the ongoing implementation of the new Radiology Information System.
* Provide professional leadership and assist in maintaining a safe, effective, patient‑centred imaging service.
* Ensure compliance with IR(ME)R17, GDPR, and data resilience requirements while maintaining advanced ICT knowledge.
* Maintain membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups scheme.
Qualifications & Experience
* Advanced knowledge of IR(ME)R17, GDPR, and data resilience.
* Advanced education in ICT systems; higher qualification in Diagnostic Radiography (BSc/BSc(Hons) or equivalent).
* Experience as a radiographer with DCR and/or post‑graduate qualification in a specialist field.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Strong organisational, interpersonal and operational skills.
