Team Leader & Lecturer – Progression

Due to growth and to help address NEET agenda, we're looking for an inspiring and ambitious Team Leader & Lecturer – Progression to join our Foundation Studies team at Bournemouth & Poole College at our Bournemouth Campus.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference to young people's lives, while also stepping into a leadership role that shapes the future of our Progression provision for young people who have faced barriers to their education.
About the role
This is a unique dual role combining teaching excellence with team leadership. You'll:
* Lead the day-to-day delivery of our Progression courses (Entry Level to Level 2)
* Inspire and support a team of passionate teaching staff
* Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that help students succeed
* Play a key role in student recruitment, progress and outcomes
* Support learners with a range of needs, including those facing barriers to education
* Drive a positive, supportive and high-performing learning environment
You'll also work closely with colleagues across the College, helping to ensure outstanding student experience, achievement and progression.
About you
You'll be someone who:
* Is a passionate educator with a track record of delivering high-quality teaching
* Has experience supporting young people, particularly those with additional or pastoral needs
* Is confident leading and motivating others
* Can manage behaviour effectively and create a positive learning culture
* Is organised, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment
* Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding and student success
* A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) and relevant subject expertise are essential.
