About the Role:
As a Patient Services Representative II (PSR II), you will be the welcoming face of our company, guiding patients through their health journeys. Whether they’re here for routine care or crucial health decisions, you’ll play a vital role in their experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing, all while adhering to established practices.
* Creating a trusting atmosphere by skillfully explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort during blood draws.
* Exhibiting leadership behaviors and a commitment to process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy.
* Working in various settings, including doctor’s offices and patient service centers, based on business needs.
* Maintaining a safe and professional environment while performing daily activities accurately and on time.
* Verifying patient information post-venipuncture to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Keeping meticulous records and documentation to support our commitment to quality care.
* Promoting a positive image of our organization to patients, clients, and the public.
What We’re Looking For:
* Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
* Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong independence with minimal supervision.
* Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.
* Good judgment and decision-making based on established procedures.
* Capability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
* Exceptional customer focus and communication skills.
* Preferred: Medical assistant or paramedic training, phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA), and three years of phlebotomy experience.
* Experience in a Patient Service Center and customer service in a retail or service environment is a plus.
* Keyboard/data entry experience.
* Candidates should be within a 20-25 minute commute to ensure timely coverage.
* Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST.
