ACS AM2 Centre Manager
* Location: FE College based in Greater Manchester
* Job Type: Full-time
* Salary: £43,161 - £47,622 per annum
We are supporting a FE College based in Manchester who are seeking an ACS AM2 Centre Manager to lead and manage the ACS Gas and AM2 Electrical Training Centres. This pivotal role ensures high standards of delivery, compliance, customer satisfaction, and commercial performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for operational oversight, business development, staff leadership, and maintaining strong relationships with employers, awarding bodies, and regulatory agencies.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Oversee the daily delivery and coordination of ACS and AM2 training and assessments, ensuring compliance with awarding body, industry, and regulatory standards.
* Manage operational planning and daily management of the centres, ensuring high-quality experiences for learners and employers.
* Develop and implement growth plans to maximise course occupancy and commercial income.
* Lead staff including delivery staff, assessors, and administrators to ensure effective teamwork and service delivery.
* Monitor and evaluate centre performance against KPIs, learner outcomes, and customer feedback.
* Ensure full compliance with awarding body requirements and internal quality assurance processes.
* Act as the primary contact for employer partners and key clients, promoting excellent service and long-term relationships.
* Develop and manage centre budgets, forecasting income and controlling expenditure to meet financial targets.
* Represent the centre at external events, networks, and professional forums.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Relevant vocational qualification in a related field (e.g., Gas Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or NVQ / Level 3 in a relevant vocational field.
* Proven experience in managing and delivering ACS and AM2 training and assessments.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* High-level organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with digital tools for training delivery and communication.
