Account Manager – Manufacturing\n Windsor, Berkshire\n Full-time On-site only\n\n37 hours per week (Mon–Thurs 08:00–16:30, Fri 08:00–13:00)\n Up to £40,000 bonus scheme excellent benefits\n\nMy client is a well-established and highly respected UK-based manufacturing business, with over four decades of experience supporting customers across a wide range of industries. With a strong reputation for delivering on time and to exacting standards, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business that values quality, integrity, and continuous improvement.\n\nWe are recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to join the team at the Windsor facility. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll be responsible for managing a small number of key accounts — overseeing their entire journey from order placement to final delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities as an Account Manager:\n\nManage day-to-day communications with a select group of customers\nCoordinate the planning and progress of customer orders, from entry into the system through to shipment\nWork cross-functionally to ensure materials, production schedules, and delivery timelines are aligned\nProvide timely and accurate updates to customers\nAttend meetings with clients (primarily UK-based, occasional international travel)\nBuild and maintain long-term, trusted relationships \n\nThe Ideal Account Manager will have:\n\n Proven experience in customer account management within a manufacturing or electronics environment\n Strong communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders\n A proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent planning and multitasking abilities\n Commercial awareness and the ability to sense-check data and identify issues early\n Experience using MRP systems and understanding production workflows\n A clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel for occasional customer visits\n\nIf this Account Manager opportunity is of interest, please contact Jemma at Orion Reading
