Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse Assistant to support the daily operations of our early childhood education centre. The successful candidate will assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Duties
* Support nursery staff in implementing educational programmes and activities tailored to children's developmental needs
* Assist with supervising children during play, meal times, and rest periods to ensure their safety and wellbeing
* Help organise and maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment suitable for young children
* Engage with children through play, conversation, and educational activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
* Support with administrative tasks such as record keeping and updating children's progress reports
* Assist with organising outings or trips in accordance with health and safety regulations
* Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's daily activities and behaviour
* Contribute to team meetings by sharing observations and suggestions for individualised care plans
Qualifications
* Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
* Strong management skills with the ability to organise activities effectively
* Demonstrated leadership qualities to support team collaboration and guide children positively
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Childcare qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred but not essential; willingness to undertake training is expected
* Valid driving licence is advantageous for assisting with outings or errands related to nursery activities
