Technical Coordinator An award-winning family run residential developer are currently looking to hire a Technical Coordinator to join a growing and thriving project team on one of the largest regeneration schemes in the Midlands. The Technical Coordinator will be tasked with the management of multiple residential blocks on the multi phased mixed use project. This role ensures great job security and the opportunity to work on a scheme from early stages through to completion. Requirements Ability to prioritise as appropriate, motivate and communicate to influence others to ensure that the required objectives are met Leadership skills including being decisive, flexible, good time management, organised, effective, works well under pressure and to strict deadlines Experience and understanding of maintaining technical schedules Ability to review drawings and identify buildability and technical issues Project and process management Problem solving and decision making Design delivery and assessing risks Effective communication with all levels of management and project teams, both internal and external to the Company Ability to coach and train junior and new team members in technical processes and procedures Passionate about customer satisfaction, house building and construction, with a focus on high standards and excellence. Knowledge and understanding of regeneration in mixed tenure developments Written and verbal communication skills Deliverables Coordinate Technical and design processes, design teams and subcontractors throughout detail design, procurement and construction, monitoring progress to ensure delivery on time and in budget Technical design coordination of schemes, ensuring that the maximum revenue is generated by the quality, cost effectiveness and buildability of the design Reviewing of consultant’s detail design drawings and subcontractor design Coordinating consultants and their deliverables driving a high standard Ensuring that designs comply with Company’s standards Promoting design that respects budgetary constraints Salary and Package £55,000 - £70,000 Car allowance or Company car Pension Healthcare Life insurance Discretionary Bonus
