General Practitioner – Victoria & Five Elms Medical Centre
Salary and Hours
Annual salary up to £112,500, based on experience. Working hours: 29.17 (7 sessions per week).
Primary Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality clinical care to patients registered at the GP surgery, including in‑person and video consultations, telephone triage, medication reviews, and prescription signing.
* Maintain practice quality through participation in clinical governance activities and improvements in patient outcomes via audits and the Quality and Outcomes Framework.
* Lead safeguarding, produce medical reports, undertake home visits, and attend surgery meetings and on‑call duties (excluding out‑of‑hours).
* Adhere to the highest personal and professional standards set by the GMC and prioritise individual patient care.
* Collaborate with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to develop, deliver and review the surgery action plan, covering list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Current registration with the GMC and NHS performers list, engaged in regular clinical work.
* GP accreditation (MRCGP examination or equivalent experience).
* Demonstrated commitment to delivering quality, patient‑focused services.
* Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and appropriate coding practices.
* Familiarity with clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb preferred.
