We are recruiting for our new General Manager, or General Management Couple at The Stone Trough Inn, Kirkham Abbey, between Malton and York, YO60 7JS.

Located in a stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty adjacent to English Heritage’s Kirkham Priory, 14 miles from York, and around 6 miles from Malton, The Stone Trough Inn is a destination venue renowned for its fantastic food, phenomenal service, and idyllic location. We have an ambitious vision for 2026 and beyond, to be known as one of the greatest pubs in Great Britain, offering the best Sunday experience in Yorkshire, and becoming the favourite local employer. We now seek a dynamic General Manager or Management Couple to lead our team and help us achieve these goals.

Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing all aspects of the pub's operation, including service, product quality, financial performance, and legal compliance.
* Managing and motivating the team, nurturing a positive and productive work environment.
* Developing and implementing operational strategies to drive business growth and achieve our goals.
* Maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
* Managing budgets, costs, and profitability.
* Working closely with the owner to drive the overall business strategy.
