* Position: English Teacher – QTS or ECT
* Location: Secondary School, Redditch
* Salary: £175 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
* Contract: Full-time, long-term supply
* Start Date: September 2025
The Role:In this role, you will teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that foster a love for language and literature. You will work within a collaborative department with high standards and a focus on student progress and achievement.Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering creative, high-quality English lessons
* Preparing students for GCSE English Language and Literature exams
* Tracking and assessing student progress
* Managing classroom behaviour positively and effectively
* Contributing to departmental activities and wider school initiatives
The Candidate:The ideal candidate will:
* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – ECTs are encouraged to apply
* Have strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
* Be confident in delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
* Show enthusiasm for engaging students of all abilities
* Be committed to continuous professional development
