The Operations and Contracts Manager plays a key delivery and operational leadership role within Audere Group. This post is responsible for the day-to-day operational management and contract delivery across the Group's Eastern European programmes, based in the Kyiv office. The role involves direct line management of operational and contract staff, close coordination with internal delivery functions and subcontractors and oversight of implementation performance against contract requirements, timelines, and budgets.
ROLE OVERVIEW
This is a delivery-focused position requiring strong field operations oversight, and contract execution. Working under the direction of the Country Director, the Operations and Contracts Manager ensures that contractual obligations to clients are met, operational staff are effectively managed and supported and that project delivery aligns with organisational quality, compliance and risk standards.
The role involves daily interaction with operations teams, local and expatriate staff, subcontractors, clients and requires a strong grasp of practical field management, logistics, compliance and internal reporting. This is a senior delivery-focused role requiring strong field operations experience and the ability to operate effectively in a complex and dynamic environment.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Delivery
* Lead day-to-day execution of in-country programmes, ensuring delivery against timelines, budgets, and quality standards
* Oversee mobilisation, planning, and implementation of projects/task orders
* Conduct field visits to monitor site performance and resolve operational issues
* Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and risk controls
Contract & Performance Management
* Manage contract delivery against milestones, KPIs, and reporting requirements
* Track deliverables, maintain performance dashboards, and support invoicing evidence submission
* Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure contractual compliance
* Identify risks/opportunities to improve contract performance and delivery outcomes
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
* Maintain proactive engagement with in-country clients and contract stakeholders
* Provide regular delivery updates and manage client concerns/escalations
* Support identification of contract growth, extension, and follow-on opportunities
Leadership & Coordination
* Line manage in-country operational and contract staff
* Liaise with internal operations, compliance, finance, HR and logistics teams
* Financial, risk & compliance oversight
* Monitor programme budgets, forecasts, and expenditure
* Escalate operational, reputational, welfare, and delivery risks as required
