Support Worker – Learning Disabilities Service (Male Only)
Location: Glenholme Healthcare, The Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1GQ
Salary: £12.75 up to £12.95 per hour + Paid Training
Hours: Full-time position available – applicants must be flexible to work across a rota including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays where required.

Please note: Due to the nature of the residents' care needs, this is a male-only role in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1. Applicants must also be comfortable working in an environment with a dog and cats.

Your Role as a Support Worker
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of residents while promoting independence and person-centred support.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing reassurance, emotional support, and daily assistance to residents
* Supporting with personal care where required
* Administering medication in line with care plans
* Responding promptly to residents' needs and supporting positive outcomes
* Maintaining accurate records and completing daily reports
* Ensuring the environment is safe, clean, and welcoming
* Encouraging independence, choice, and participation in daily activities
