(Ofsted 2025) You will Have the highest expectations of children and yourself Know and understand how children learn Deliver a carefully sequenced curriculum Demonstrate excellent classroom practice Employ adaptive teaching strategies Accurately assess pupils’ work using a range of methods Support effective learning behaviours Be open to professional development opportunities We can offer: A high level of support and professional development for all staff A warm and welcoming school community Confident and loving children Free childcare for ages 3 and over, plus after-school care, is available on discussion with the school Opportunities for you to contribute to the wider school community and education system through collaboration with other schools Job Description: Classroom Teacher Main Purpose of Job To plan, deliver and assess high-quality teaching in an inclusive and positive environment. To demonstrate effective classroom management which nurtures all pupils and strengthens social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) Main Responsibilities Plan, prepare and deliver highly effective lessons across the curriculum Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND Assess, record and report on pupils’ progress and development Create and maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Manage pupil behaviour effectively and promote positive relationships. Communicate regularly with parents, carers, and colleagues Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen learning experiences Participate in evidence-based, professional development opportunities Promote a love of learning and encourage curiosity and creativity
