We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networksteam based in Norwich.
Location: Whitlingham, Norwich
Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility available; please specify your preferences when contacting us.
In this role, you will work on our Anglian Water framework within the IOS team (Integrated Operational Solutions), which operates across disciplines including Civils, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation, focusing on water recycling solutions and the clean water sector.
Responsibilities
You will lead and manage the commercial functions, responsible for implementing strategies to maximize value, control costs, manage budgets, and mitigate risks ethically and safely.
Your daily tasks will include:
1. Maintaining a collaborative environment aligned with the IOS vision.
2. Ensuring adequate commercial resourcing, capacity, and capability to meet work demands.
3. Supporting the Framework Manager to achieve commercial targets through robust monthly review processes.
Candidate Profile
This role is ideal if you possess:
* A relevant Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
* Extensive experience in a senior commercial role within a Tier 1 main contracting environment, preferably in the water or utilities sector.
* Chartered status or relevant professional qualification.
* Strong contractual knowledge, including NEC, JCT, arbitration, and adjudication processes.
* A proven track record in commercial reporting and risk management at a regional level.
* Experience in developing commercial strategies to enhance business growth and profitability.
* Procurement experience aligned with strategic goals.
* High-level technical, communication, and IT skills.
* Excellent self-management skills.
* A full driving license.
