Fleet Compliance Admin Officer required for PD Bannister Haulage Ltd in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Mon - Fri
Responsibilities:
* Manage external service providers to deliver a consistent repair/maintenance plan ensure vehicles and trailers are booked on a weekly basis for inspections and forward plan MOT's
* Manage vehicle scheduled and non-scheduled repairs breakdown callouts
* Utilise all network resources to ensure the most cost effective maintenance, breakdown and repair service to meet the businesses needs
* Ensure all maintenance and repair work is documented and controlled in an accurate manner upkeep vehicle / trailer maintenance files, wall planners and system
* Liaise with external contractors/industry bodies to ensure vehicle & driver compliance
* Manage vehicle downtime of all fleet vehicles to ensure such downtime is kept to a minimum
* Produce and maintain management information for damage, breakdowns and NCM
* Utilise the vehicle telematics software to ensure compliance
* Assist in monitoring drivers hours vehicle defects to ensure compliance
* Liaise with suppliers booking DCPC courses for drivers
* Driving Licence checking with DVLA
* Insurance claims handling
* Uninsured loss recovery for non fault accidents
* Driver risk assessment via desktop analysis
* Accident investigation
* Ensure full compliance as per the DVSA requirements and the Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness
Required:-
* Hold a full clean UK car driving licence
* CPC Transport Manager an advantage but not essential
* Knowledge of Drivers hours an advantage
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
* Comfortable with full range of Microsoft Office application
