Based in Runcorn, you will work on-site with occasional flexibility where required. This opportunity is ideal for a qualified or near-qualified accountant looking for a role where you can take ownership of management accounts, financial reporting, and support strategic business decisions across a dynamic organisation. Produce accounting reports with appropriate analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making. Maintain integrity of data through balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and controls. Assist Finance Director with budgeting, monthly budget monitoring, and year-end forecasts. Verify monthly stock count accuracy. Business partner with departmental managers to support cost reduction initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and overhead control. Manage cashbook, bank reconciliations, and foreign currency transactions. Support global finance operations, including teams in the US and China. Assist with short-term cash flow forecasts and cash management. Produce statutory reports, including VAT, in compliance with relevant authorities. Undertake ad-hoc project work as required. Interviews will be happening as soon as possible Ideal experience: Qualified or final stages of qualification with a globally recognised accounting body (CIMA/ACCA/ACA). Proven understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, financial accounting, and financial analysis. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards, regulatory requirements, VAT, Payroll etc. Strong financial reporting and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Excellent organisation and time-management skills. Experience using Sage X3 advantageous but not essential.
