This is a hybrid role for a minimum of 3 days per week based out of our Syston, Leicester office, along with presence required in our London office too.

A People Partner with a passion for organisational design, change leadership and capability building—paired with a curiosity for the evolving world of Technology. You’ll work hand‑in‑hand with senior Tech leaders to shape people plans that meets Dunelm’s ambition to thrive as a truly omni‑channel retailer.


What you’ll be doing


Strategic People & OD Leadership

* Lead on future‑focused organisational design, working with key leadership to ensure structures, roles, and capabilities evolve in alignment with our omnichannel ambitions.
* Diagnose organisational challenges and opportunities, recommending fit‑for‑purpose OD interventions that enable growth, drive clarity, and ensure long‑term scalability.
* Act as a change partner to business leaders, providing expertise in planning, sequencing, and embedding change that improves colleague experience and supports business outcomes.
* Build change readiness across your business area, equipping leaders and managers with the skills, tools, and confidence to lead their teams through ongoing transformation.


Building Capability & Leadership Strength

* Equip leaders and line managers with the capability, tools / frameworks and initiatives to develop high‑performing, adaptable teams.
* Partner our business leaders to shape a strong culture of learning, continuous improvement, and career mobility within their function.
* Drive leadership‑led engagement strategies that strengthen culture and enable colleagues to thrive.
* Build trusted, influential relationships with business leaders, acting as a strategic advisor and sounding board across people, organisational, and culture matters.
* Use qualitative and quantitative data to influence decisions, shape interventions, and drive continuous improvement.
* Partner closely with functional People teams (Talent & Belonging, Learning & Development, Resourcing, Reward) to integrate people plans that support evolving organisational needs.


Colleague Experience & Engagement

* Provide coaching and guidance to line managers to foster positive colleague relations and create an inclusive, collaborative environment.
* Lead initiatives that support retention, engagement, and wellbeing, ensuring feedback shapes the colleague experience.


Employee Relations & Enabling Manager Capability

* Play an active role in supporting and guiding on colleague relations matters as we stabilise and uplift capability
* Provide pragmatic, commercially aware advice on complex or sensitive cases, ensuring fair and timely resolution while role‑modelling best practice.
* Contribute to our transformation towards greater manager self‑serve and empowerment, helping shape the tools, frameworks, and ways of working that enable line managers to confidently lead their own people matters. You will be instrumental in reducing dependency on the People team over time by building capability, simplifying processes, and supporting the delivery of our wider People Transformation roadmap.
