Lecturer, Hospitality and Catering, Full time, Thurrock Campus We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join the Department of Service Industries which has an expanding Hospitality and Catering, curriculum area. A teaching qualification and assessing qualification are essential with the relevant industry experience. Previous experience of working with 16-19 students, teaching City and Guild, Gateway qualifications an advantage. Experience of working with learners who have additional needs would also be beneficial Excellent communication skills and IT skills essential. Experience of managing leaner behaviour and attendance in order to meet KPIs. The post holder will ensure the needs of our learners come first and that every learner will be provided with opportunities to achieve their full potential within a safe, stimulating and supportive environment. You will be required to deliver high quality teaching and learning and you are expected to develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials which enable all learners to achieve their full potential and take account of educational initiatives.
