The Role
* Develop and maintain mechanical design information and management systems, ensuring integration with other disciplines for efficient manufacture and supply of new products (using SolidWorks and PDM Works).
* Collaborate across engineering disciplines to achieve optimal engineering solutions.
* Manage the evolution of standard upgrade options for products post‑launch.
The Person
* Minimum HNC in Engineering.
* At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design, open to junior, graduate, and senior‑level engineers.
* Ideally experience designing pressure vessels, tanks, rotating/flow equipment (valves, pumps, etc.), conveying systems, mechanical/material handling, special purpose machinery, etc.
* Understanding of European Directives, CE Marking, ASME standards, and North American pressure equipment regulations.
* 3D Modelling experience is a must; ideally SolidWorks but open to similar design packages such as Inventor or SolidEdge.
Salary & Benefits
* £30,000 - £40,000 (Dependent on Experience).
* 25 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays.
* 36.5 hour working week with flexible start times.
* Monday - Thursday - 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
* Friday - 7:30 am until 12 pm.
* Option to work a full Friday and work a 9‑day fortnight (every other Friday off without affecting your holiday allowance) or finish at 12 pm on Fridays.
* Hybrid / Work From Home.
* Bonus (Paid Twice a Year).
* Pension 6% Employer Contribution.
