Performance, Research and Consultation Data Administrator - 04532
We are looking for a detail‑oriented and highly organised Data Administrator to join our Performance, Research and Consultation Team. This role is central to ensuring accurate, high‑quality data that supports decision‑making across Education and Social Care services. You will extract and analyse data, produce clear reports, and help maintain data integrity for statutory and local requirements.
Key responsibilities
* Extract and quality‑assure data from service systems, including Capita ONE and CareDirector.
* Produce Excel‑based reports and management information for stakeholders, including senior managers and councillors.
* Monitor data quality, identify issues and correct or escape as needed.
* Respond to internal and external data queries, including Freedom of Information requests.
* Support school data returns and liaise with service users on system‑specific issues.
* Contribute to research, consultation and performance management activities within the PRC team.
Essential qualifications and experience
* GCSEs (Grade C or above) and A‑levels or equivalent.
* Working with large databases and Excel spreadsheets.
* Public sector experience and understanding of social care information requirements (desirable).
* Familiarity with Capita ONE and/or CareDirector systems (desirable).
Desirable qualifications
* Computing or information management qualification.

* Strong Excel skills for data manipulation and presentation.
* Excellent attention to detail and numerical analysis.
* Effective written and verbal communication.
* Organised and able to manage workload effectively.
* Appreciation of data protection and confidentiality.
Employment details
Employment type: Full‑time.
Seniority level: Entry level.
Location: Wokingham, England.
Contract: Fixed term until 30 November 2026 (backfill for secondment).
Pay review: Annual banding review until top of pay grade after probation.
National pay award: Eligible.
