Role Description
This is a full-time Account Manager position within a growing commercial team.
The role combines new business development with long-term account management. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, converting prospects into active customers, and managing relationships to drive retention and account growth.
You will:
* Generate new business through proactive outreach and networking
* Manage opportunities from first engagement through to conversion
* Build and develop long-term client relationships
* Prepare quotations and conduct commercial discussions
* Develop structured account plans to grow existing customers
* Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
* Maintain an organised and visible sales pipeline
* Coordinate internally to ensure customer requirements are delivered accurately
* Meet agreed revenue and margin targets
This role requires structure, commercial awareness, and a professional approach to client engagement.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience in sales, business development, or account management
* Ability to manage a pipeline and deliver against targets
* Professional, organised, and self-directed
* Commercially aware and comfortable handling negotiations
Desirable:
* Experience in B2B sales
* Exposure to IT hardware, technology, or solutions sales
* Experience using CRM or sales platforms
* Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
