Job Title: Apprenticeship Coach
Location: Lincoln, LN5 7FD (travel required across local sites)
Contract Length: 12 months (ASAP start – end date 1 year)
Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon–Thu 7.5 hrs, Fri 7 hrs)
Requirement: Enhanced DBS certificate & Full Driving Licence
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services, is currently recruiting for an Apprenticeship Coach to support learners on Level 3 and Level 4 Engineering Apprenticeship Programmes (including machinist, engineering fitter, sheet metal worker, technical support and related roles).
Purpose of Role
The Apprenticeship Coach will be responsible for guiding and supporting apprentices throughout their learning journey. Acting as the primary point of contact for a caseload of learners, you will provide coaching, carry out progress reviews, monitor workplace performance, and support learner development to ensure successful completion of the apprenticeship standards.
Responsibilities

Deliver coaching and mentoring in line with apprenticeship standards.

Conduct regular learner reviews (every 8 weeks), assessing progress against performance and development milestones.

Act as the key contact for a group of apprentices, providing consistent support and guidance.
*
Work with line managers to ensure apprentices have the required support in the workplace.
*
Monitor quality, quantity, and health & safety standards during workplace performance checks.
*
Support learner welfare and personal development, applying emotional intelligence to help them overcome barriers.
*
Maintain and update learner evidence and records in preparation for End Point Assessment (EPA).
*
Complete all administrative tasks and reporting requirements within set timescales.
*
Undertake continuous professional development (CPD) to remain up to date with apprenticeship standards.
Key Skills & Experience Required
*
Previous experience delivering or supporting apprenticeship training.
*
Proven track record in preparing learners to meet EPA requirements.
*
Knowledge of government-funded training and apprenticeship frameworks.
*
Strong communication and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate learners.
*
Emotional intelligence and the ability to support learners aged 16+.
*
Experience conducting reviews and appraisals.
*
IT proficiency, including electronic portfolio systems.
*
Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines.
*
Flexible and professional approach to work.
Other Requirements
*
Enhanced DBS certificate.
*
Full driving licence.
*
Willingness to travel between sites in Lincoln.
