Job Title: SEN Supply Teaching Assistant - Lewisham

Remedy is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Supply Teaching Assistant to join our team and work across a range of schools in Lewisham. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and social or emotional difficulties.
Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Support pupils' social and emotional development, encouraging confidence and independence.
Help manage behaviour in a positive and supportive way, promoting an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress.Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN or in a similar care/support role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic approach.
Ability to adapt to different school environments and meet a range of learning needs.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).
