Overview
Castle Mead School and Nursery is looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Housekeeper with MDSA responsibilities to join their team. Working as a member of staff within our Trust, you will be a part of a team and play an active role in ensuring the learning and development of all our young people.
Responsibilities
* Support the housekeeping team to ensure the school and spaces within it are kept clean and sanitary.
* Use powered equipment (e.g., vacuum cleaners and polishers) where appropriate.
* Undertake necessary action in the event of severe weather or an emergency (e.g., putting down salt and clearing paths in the winter).
* Support the aims, ethos and values of the school, and ensure they are followed by children in line with school policy.
Hours
The working hours for this role are expected to be 06:00 - 08:00 for housekeeping and 11:30 - 13:30 for MDSA responsibilities, Monday to Friday.

This role will involve contact with children and the post holder will be engaged in regulated activity relevant to children and will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check before appointment is confirmed. We will only submit a DBS application to the relevant disclosure service when a position is accepted.
