Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions are looking for experienced youth workers to help young people feel supported, inspired, and empowered to achieve their full potential. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking service delivering creative and impactful youth work in diverse communities. Whether it’s running a music session at one of our modern Youth Hubs, mentoring a young person 1:1, or working with schools and local organisations, no two days will be the same. What You’ll Do As a Youth Worker, you’ll help shape the lives of young people aged 11–19, through face-to-face engagement. Your work will focus on: Empowering Young People: * Leading open-access and targeted sessions that build confidence, resilience and life skills * Providing safe, inclusive spaces for personal growth, creativity, and connection * Supporting transitions to adulthood, education, and employment pathways Building Positive Relationships: * Engaging young people from all backgrounds, especially those facing disadvantage or disengagement * Offering 1:1 support, mentoring and signposting to specialist services * Encouraging youth voice, leadership and co-design of services Driving Community Impact: * Designing engaging programmes for evenings, weekends, holidays and residentials * Taking part in street outreach, school-based activities, and pop-up events * Creating alternatives to antisocial behaviour, exclusion and isolation Working Collaboratively: * Partnering with schools, youth justice, health and social care professionals * Promoting safeguarding, emotional wellbeing, and equality in every setting * Monitoring impact through youth-friendly tools, attendance logs and progression reports About You We’re seeking enthusiastic and socially driven individuals who believe in the potential of young people. You’ll thrive in this role if you are: * Passionate about youth development and community inclusion * Skilled in engaging young people through creative, sports, or issue-based sessions * Able to connect and communicate with empathy, authority and consistency * Committed to equity, anti-racism, and safeguarding in every aspect of your work * Flexible and happy to work evenings, weekends, and school holidays What You’ll Bring Essential Requirements: * Experience delivering structured youth work or participation programmes * Understanding of safeguarding, youth development and risk management * A proactive, energetic approach and a commitment to personal and professional growth * Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain) Desirable (but not essential): * Youth Work or Play Work qualification (Level 2 or 3) * Skills in arts, sport, music, drama or outdoor education Ready to Apply?
