Job Title: Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor Location: Exeter Salary: £105K Package (DOE) The Role * Manage and control the commercial aspects of a major project in Exeter operating under an MEP Unbundled strategy * Maximise commercial results by delivering optimum profit performance against internal budgets * Procure and commercially manage M&E subcontractor packages, sub-consultants, and consultants * Prepare accurate financial reports including forecasts, net margin, and activity reporting * Ensure consistent and accurate financial forecasting and cost control * Prepare and agree Interim Valuations with the Client * Progress and agree Variations in line with company procedures and tools * Collaborate with the Project Manager and wider project team to achieve commercial objectives * Monitor subcontractor performance against programme and provide commercial support where required * Manage reporting timetables and ensure compliance with key commercial tools and procedures * Support, supervise, and promote the training and development of the Quantity Surveying team * Contribute to risk management and advise on effective mitigation strategies The Company * Tier 1 international main contractor delivering technically complex and innovative construction projects * Part of a financially robust global group with annual sales exceeding €32 billion and operations in over 100 countries * Strong presence across public and private sectors delivering award-winning construction, development, and regeneration projects The Ideal Candidate * BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification * Significant senior-level M&E Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor * Experience managing M&E subcontractor packages and sub-consultant procurement * Proven experience producing financial reports including forecasts, net margin, and activity reporting * Strong commercial awareness and contractual knowledge * Experience across both pre- and post-contract stages * Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work What You’ll Get * Competitive salary * 26 days annual leave, increasing to 30 days * 2 paid volunteering days per year * Pension scheme * Life insurance * Private medical insurance * Generous share scheme * Access to additional lifestyle benefits
