Position: Early Years Entitlements Funding Manager
Hourly Rate: £17+ per hour
Contract: Initial 3-month contract with a view to extension
Work Schedule: Full time, Monday – Friday
Work Arrangement: Hybrid Working
Spencer Clarke Group is partnering with a local authority in South Yorkshire to recruit an Early Years Entitlements Funding Manager.
Role Overview
We are seeking a funding manager to join our Early Start and Families Services to oversee the early years funding provider payments system. The role involves line management of a team of funding officers.
The successful candidate will review and enhance existing processes to support efficient processing of early years funding payments to providers. Collaboration with IT and Business Intelligence teams will be essential to develop systems that accommodate new responsibilities arising from the expansion of early years entitlements.
Qualifications and Skills
* Level 4 qualification in a relevant field
* Training in ICT software
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
Responsibilities
* Lead the development and management of policies and procedures related to early years entitlements funding, including payment systems.
* Provide professional advice and guidance to internal teams and external agencies, including written guidance and training sessions.
* Interpret legislation and implement appropriate procedures, ensuring compliance with local and national reporting requirements, such as census reporting.
