The BSI Kitemark for Consumer Promise helps businesses demonstrate high standards of customer service, transparency, and trustworthiness. This role involves delivering product assessment audits across schemes focused on Innovation Management, Inclusive Services (Vulnerability), and Consumer Excellence. Candidates with a technical/engineering background and expertise in customer excellence are highly sought.
This is a remote position with regular travel.
Essential Responsibilities
* Prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients, ensuring understanding and clear corrective actions.
* Recommend issuing, re-issuing, or withdrawing certificates in accordance with BSI policies.
* Manage nominated accounts to ensure effective partnership, service delivery, and growth.
* Lead assessment teams, ensuring quality and effective relationships with clients and within the team.
* Provide accurate information to support services, maintaining client records.
* Coach colleagues, especially assessors and new team members.
* Plan workloads to maximize revenue and efficiency.
* Attend training and follow procedures for client management, home-office setup, and communication.
* Complete extensive onboarding to achieve Lead Assessor status.
* Demonstrate knowledge and skills through assessments and audits.
* Manage a portfolio of clients, scheduling visits, assessments, and reporting.
* Monitor client accounts to ensure satisfaction and proper record-keeping.
* Lead teams and mentor colleagues as needed.
Education/Qualifications
* At least 4 years' experience in customer service excellence or product manufacturing.
* Qualified in a technical or engineering field.
* Experience in product assessment or auditing against standards.
* Willingness to travel frequently across the UK.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system auditing practices.
