We need your help to inspire and help our busy operational teams execute their work consistently, using “best in class” health and safety practices. We’ll support and encourage your inquisitive nature as you seek to understand the operational challenges your colleagues face on site. We’ll encourage you to create communications strategies which resonate and inspire our team. What is this the purpose of this role? • To provide professional advice and support on all Health, Safety matters to all organisational levels across the business • To advise and support colleagues to meet their legal HSE responsibilities • To promote best practice in health and safety Here are just some of the activities you’ll be getting involved with: • Advise and guide internal/external stakeholders ensuring legal, financial and moral duties are undertaken in line with group standards. • Monitor compliance in line with Health & Safety legislation and Business Assurance procedures. • Audit and assess that operational sites are legally, environmentally and H&S (Health and Safety) compliant and working to the SHEQF (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality & Fleet Safety) Management System. • Assist in the development of new processes, procedures and systems of work whenever required. • Undertake inspections, audits and tours ensuring SHEQF compliance with identified timeline and standards. • Assist project management teams in delivering required projects within own area of specialism. • Investigate and report on events ensuring continuous improvement. • Deliver and develop relevant training, including toolbox talks. • Review and monitor data using various management information systems. • Champion the clear and timely delivery of SHEQF communications We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate … • NEBOSH construction or general certificate • Demonstrable experience of delivering SHE within a similar sector • Working knowledge of H&S legislation and systems and their application in a similar sector. • Understanding of how health and well-being contribute to organisational performance. • Maintain a full valid driving licence in line with company policy.
