Job description.
Land Manager
Oxford
£50k – £65k.
Are you driven by getting out and about, meeting agents & land owners and finding sites? Do you feel hamstrung by your current company being less inclined to buy land? Are you bored of sitting at your desk processing site after site handed down from above?
I’m working with a progressive, growing privately owned developer who are a breath of fresh air in what can be a stale house building market. My client are looking to add to the team with a Land Buyer or Land Manager who is pro-active in getting out to meet and cultivate relationships with agents and land owners, and to sniff out great land acquisition opportunities.
With a new round of funding agreed for land acquisition, my client is well placed to do deals and bring through some new sites for development. They have a number of sites currently in place, with a new region planned for opening later this year.
Responsibilities:
1. Meeting with, and developing relationships with agents and land owners.
2. Bringing new land acquisition opportunities to the table for the business to consider.
3. Driving deal through the acquisition process.
4. Working with the Land Director on existing opportunities and sites.
5. Attending networking events and functions as a company representative.
This role has a great amount of flexibility, you’d be required in the office a couple of days a week but there would be the expectation that you’d enjoy being out and about meeting people and looking at sites.
There is a great opportunity to perform and develop quickly within the business. The Land Director is a well-respected member of the industry who is keen to mentor and develop this person.
On offer is a salary of circa £45k – £65k plus package.
