- Responsible for the standardization, consolidation, and preparation of system documentation for the FLAGCIS (maritime deployable communication & information system modules).
- Publishes, communicates, and implements a realizable information knowledge management (IKM) plan for operational system documentation for the FLAGCIS system to include timelines, deliverables, as well as responsibilities for drafting and approval.
- Assists in the production, validation, and refinement of system level and technical documentation, operating procedures, maintenance plans, technical schematics, checklists, as well as operator/technical manuals.
- Supports the coordination of documentation of infrastructure and CIS connectivity requirements to upgrade facilities for FLAGCIS.
- Monitor, records, and reports progress of IKM plan fulfillment, while recording observations and exceptions, proposing alternate production plans in case of unforeseen circumstances.
- Provides advice to key stakeholders including, but not limited to: NCIA Service Level and Service Delivery Managers, Service owners, Commander CSU, Branch Heads, Principal Technicians, MARCOM HQ personnel, and AIRBUS technicians.
-Provides support to FLAGCIS validation and integration Technician as required.
Requirements Description:
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
•Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in creation, planning and management of Information and Knowledge Management of Technology related artefacts.
•Expert knowledge of MSOffice suite is required.
Desirable Qualifications and Education:
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or related discipline.
•Experience in creating Information Knowledge Management Plans.
•Experience in drafting technical documentation, including but not limited to: system-level and technical documentation, operating procedures, maintenance plans, technical schematics, checklists, as well as operator/technical manuals.
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
•Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation and user guides is required.
•Effective oral and written communication skills in English are essential.
