Technical Support Agent Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch (Office-based) Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (1-hour paid lunch) We are currently recruiting for a Technical Support Agent to join a busy and growing support team on an initial temporary basis of at least 3 months. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in software or technical support who is confident dealing with customers and looking to gain experience within a structured support environment. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for incoming support queries Handle customer enquiries via phone and live chat Log and raise support tickets for the wider technical team Provide clear, professional communication and manage customer expectations Escalate issues appropriately and ensure accurate documentation Confidently advise customers when further investigation or follow-up is required Requirements Previous experience in technical or software support (essential) Strong communication skills and confidence handling customer calls Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively Comfortable working in a fast-paced support environment Strong attention to detail when logging and managing tickets Desirable Skills Experience supporting ERP systems Exposure to structured support/helpdesk environments Additional Information This role will initially be office-based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch Full training will be provided on specific areas of the product set While this is a temporary position, there may be potential for longer-term opportunities for the right candidate ~ APPLY TODAY! ~ Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
