 
        A large, diverse and forward-thinking 11–18 school in Birmingham is seeking a talented Design & Technology Teacher to join its Creative and Technical faculty from January 2026. Rated Good by Ofsted, the school has invested heavily in STEM and practical learning, with facilities that allow students to develop their design, problem-solving and engineering skills in a supportive and dynamic environment. The Role Teach across KS3–KS4 with the potential for A-Level or vocational specialism. Deliver creative, hands-on lessons in Product Design, Resistant Materials or Engineering. Support the development of cross-curricular STEM initiatives. Contribute to extra-curricular clubs and design challenges. Facilities The DT department features fully equipped workshops with laser cutters, 3D printers, CAD/CAM technology, and a suite of computers running industry-standard software. Students work on real-world design briefs and collaborate with local employers through enterprise partnerships. About You QTS or equivalent in Design & Technology. Practical and innovative in your teaching approach. Strong understanding of safety, workshop management and materials. Positive, team-oriented and adaptable.
