 
        
        Our client is a well established and successful company, they are looking for a Multi Skilled Workshop Engineer to join their team. As a Multiskilled Workshop Engineer you’ll mount, commission, repair, and maintain vehicle hydraulics, perform fabrication and welding, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Salary: Up to £37,400 depending on experience.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week between 7:00am and 3.30pm.

 * Understanding of mechanical systems (ideally related to bin lifts and recycling vehicles)
 * Experience in a relevant engineering discipline to include knowledge and understanding of electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic equipment.
 * Experience of working to Quality Management Systems.
 * Hands-on experience with repairing, refurbishing, and maintaining mechanical equipment
 * Experience with performing pre-delivery inspections and ensuring high customer service standards
 * Basic knowledge of fabrication and welding techniques.
 * Recognised apprenticeship, or equivalent in an engineering discipline or relevant experience.
 * Willingness to work over & above core hours where required.
 * Ability & willingness to travel throughout the UK from time to time in line with the business needs.
 * Full UK Driving licence.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
 * To mount and commission the full range of the company’s lifting and weighing products.
 * To repair, refurbish and maintain bin lifts and refuse vehicles.
 * To carry out engineering tasks to include fabrication and welding as required.
 * Work to quality control procedures recording all relevant information.
 * Ensure work is in line with health and safety standards at all times.
 * Aim to be productive in line with KPI times deemed achievable by the company
 * Adhere to company policy
 * To carry out process driven pre delivery inspections ensuring our customers have the best possible in service experience
 * To have mechanical knowledge and to learn how to strip binlifts, refurbish with new parts and rebuild.
 * Support workshop activities.
