Location & Working Conditions
Location: Exeter / Ipswich / Wymondham / Speke / Salford - Remote working available, with occasional office travel required.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - We offer flexibility, so just let us know your preferences!

Your Responsibilities
As a Drainage and Water Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of our Drainage Team, delivering high-quality, compliant, and sustainable solutions across various projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Delivering assigned tasks to a high standard, ensuring technical outputs are coordinated, compliant, and sustainable.
* Applying relevant design standards and quality processes consistently, contributing to quality assurance and design reviews.
* Proactively identifying risks or issues and supporting timely resolutions.
* Managing individual tasks within the programme and budget, escalating issues, and proposing solutions to maintain performance.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* An HNC, BTEC, or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering field.
* Experience in producing engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and models in drainage and water design.
* An understanding of relevant design standards, regulations, and quality assurance processes.
* The ability to conduct site visits, surveys, and desk-based research, with strong attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. A full driving license and willingness to travel are also required.
