This is not simply a caseload role. You’ll play a central part in developing the practice, advising on complex, high-value matters while helping shape the team’s long-term direction. Quality work for stellar range of clients You will advise high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees and business owners on sophisticated private wealth matters, including: Succession planning and complex inheritance tax mitigation Wealth protection structures and estate planning Trust creation, restructuring and administration Capital gains tax planning Charity and philanthropic advisory work Cross-border and international estate planning (where relevant) Optional exposure to contentious probate matters At Senior Associate or Partner level, you will also: Mentor and supervise junior lawyers Strengthen and deepen key client relationships Contribute to business development initiatives Help drive the strategic growth of the Manchester private client tea Who would suit this role 5 years’ PQE in private client law Strong technical grounding in wills, trusts, IHT and CGT Confident advising HNW and UHNW clients STEP qualified (or working towards qualification) preferred Commercially aware, proactive and keen to contribute beyond your own caseload Whether you’re an established Senior Associate seeking a clearer path to partnership, or an existing Partner looking for a stronger platform and brand, this role offers genuine progression and autonomy.
