The Role
We have a Senior Forensic Mental Health Practitioner position available in our Integrated Offender Management (IOM) mental health service, located in the South London area. This is a fixed-term role until 31/03/2025, with the possibility of extension depending on contract funding.
About Integrated Offender Management (IOM)
IOM is a national multi-agency arrangement that manages the most persistent, repeat offenders. In London, the revised IOM framework focuses on repeat offenders who pose at least a medium risk of violent reoffending. The aim is to improve consistency and effectiveness in reducing the number of victims, especially of serious acquisitive and violent crime.
Key Responsibilities
Your Impact
You will be part of a dedicated and dynamic team focused on delivering tailored support to individuals currently on licence with HM Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS).
As a Senior Forensic Mental Health Practitioner (FMHP), you will:
* Work with management to develop and promote the IOM service
* Support induction and training of new staff
* Hold a small caseload and deliver psychologically-informed interventions
* Help service users improve mental health and wellbeing, stay safe, reduce loneliness, increase social participation, work towards goals, and develop independence

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
What We're Looking For
* Minimum of three years' experience as a Mental Health Practitioner
* A qualification in mental health
* Ability to work full-time, with flexible and hybrid working options based on service needs
