Your Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the needs of students with SEND.
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages independence and confidence.
* Work closely with SEND specialists, support staff, and external agencies to provide the best support for students.
* Monitor and assess students' progress, using EHCPs and personalised learning plans to inform teaching.
* Use a range of differentiated teaching strategies to engage learners with diverse needs.
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on students' progress and development.
* Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and CPD opportunities related to SEND.
Qualifications
* QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree in Education or SEND.
* Experience working with students with SEND, particularly in a classroom setting.
* A deep understanding of EHCPs, differentiation, and inclusive teaching strategies.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with colleagues and external professionals.
* A commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
* Passion for supporting children with SEND and helping them reach their full potential.
