Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Meadows View School – Lincolnshire PE9 2JLS
Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE DOE
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, days to be agreed (term time only, full‑time contract options available with flexibility)
Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke occupational therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have socio‑emotional and mental‑health needs.
* Work within the occupational therapy standards provided by the OFGO and the policy guidance for occupational therapy ways of working in an education setting.
* Manage an occupational therapy caseload independently, with support from a designated clinical supervisor and Lead Clinician.
* Contribute to staff training and clinical consultation as required.
* Maintain person‑centred, empowering practice and support pupils in achieving independence and participation in school activities.
* Produce clear and concise report writing for the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Valid and up to date HCPC registration; registered member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
* Relevant experience providing occupational therapy services within an education setting preferred.
* Experience working with neurodivergent and/or learning difficulty and socio‑emotional challenges.
* Proven clinical knowledge and practical application of OT theory to support independence.
* Ability to work independently and within a multi‑professional team.
* Full UK driving licence, with access to a vehicle.
