Technip Energies is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Supervisor to oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices on the Net Zero Teesside Power project. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, promote a strong safety culture, and support the project team in implementing best practices to achieve zero incidents and environmental impact.
HSE Oversight: Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards related to health, safety, and environment.
* Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, hazard identifications, and incident investigations to prevent accidents and environmental incidents.
* Safety Culture Promotion: Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions to foster a proactive safety culture among all project personnel.
* Inspection & Audits: Perform regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
* Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate HSE records, incident reports, and safety statistics; prepare reports for management review.
* Emergency Preparedness: Ensure emergency response plans are in place, understood, and regularly practiced.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and external agencies to promote safety and environmental best practices.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for HSE improvements and support the implementation of safety initiatives aligned with project goals.
Proven experience as an HSE Supervisor or similar role within the energy, engineering, or construction sectors.
* Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
* Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
* Experience working on large-scale industrial or power projects, preferably within the energy transition or decarbonization sectors.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team environment.
